New set – Lace Hearts 4

My last collection of hearts, that I’ve been recently working on, is ready.

It complements the previous three heart-themed collections and therefore naturally continues the naming line as Lace Hearts 4. Just like the recent Gingerbread Hearts collection, this one is also available at a discounted price until February 28, 2026.

Embroidered hearts are perfect not only for Valentine’s Day, but also for Mother’s Day, or for decorating gifts, bouquets, and greeting cards for your loved ones all year round.

The hearts feature a scalloped edge, and at the top center  there is one scallop specially designed so that you can tie a ribbon here.

As always, the designs are created manually and are not the result of automatic digitizing. I carefully design them to minimize jump stitches and color changes. They are free-standing lace (FSL) designs, to be stitched on water-soluble stabilizer. This means they are constructed to hold their shape after the stabilizer is washed away—the stitches are thoroughly interconnected so the lace does not fall apart.

I tested the designs on single-needle home machines by Pfaff and Brother, as well as on a Brother multineedle machine, and I had no issues on any of them.

Please keep in mind that achieving well-stitched lace requires to follow some rules. Everything is clearly explained and photographed in the e-book included in the set. Basic principles are: proper hooping of the stabilizer, using a sharp needle, high-quality embroidery threads, and reducing the embroidery speed.

It is also always better to use the smallest hoop possible. In large hoop, the stabilizer may sag, which can cause that the stitches do not interlock properly.

As I wrote above, the set includes one smaller heart as a freebie that you can try out. It is available HERE or by clicking on the picture below.

If you like these hearts, they are available HERE. The set inludes 5 hearts for 4×4 hoop (sized cca 9×8,2 cm / 3,54×3,22″) plus the little freebie you can see above and step-by-step photo tutorial how to make these hearts.

Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog (in right panel of the website) to be informed whenever a new freebie or new designs are added to my site. No spam, just short info about new additions, I promise.

Enjoy the design and until next time Happy Embroidering!
