Much later than planned but here I am with my new set of embroideries.
The set is named Gingerbread Hearts and you can now buy it with 35% discount (till the end of February 2026).
Although there’s just a couple days left until Valentine’s Day, these embroidery designs have around 6,000 stitches only, so there’s still plenty of time to make a few little hearts. And of course, I was also thinking ahead to Mother’s Day, as they work beautifully for that occasion too.

It was a bit of a last-minute idea and then I ended up spending a lot of time testing the designs and photographing a detailed step-by-step tutorial to make sure everyone will be able to stitch perfect hearts.

I tested them on home single-needle machines by Pfaff and Brother, as well as on a Brother multi needle machine. Each machine has its own specifics – in general, the multi needle machine stitches flawlessly absolutely everything, while the my Pfaff Icon is the most picky one, so I wanted to catch and fine-tune any potential issues. In the end, however, the results were the same on all machines, so I truly believe everyone canl achieve perfect quality embroidery, just like you can see on my photos.

As always, my designs are carefully digitized by hand, with no automatic digitizing, and with an emphasis on minimizing jumps and color changes. The designs were created in Embird, combining the Studio module and the Cross-stitch module. The decorative motifs are stitched on the front side only; the back remains plain, with just the scalloped edge and an eye for the ribbon the stitched out. You can easily omit the eye if you don’t plan to tie a ribbon onto the your hearts.

Two dayas ago I have already presented a freebie from this set that you can try out. You can download it HERE.
